Thursday is the new Friday

I am ready for the weekend...I took tomorrow off work and am ready to enjoy the view!!! I just hope this June Gloom stays away...I have a great day planned tomorrow: Ella Moss/Splendid sample sale, lunch with my love, going away party for a co-worker, going to see my student's in the school play Sessical and then a night out with friends!! I cant wait...I need a break......

...I have been so crazy busy with life! I started back at school for the summer session (for my teaching credential), I forgot what it's like to be in school. I work all day with my little one's...who I simply adore, then I come home to study...AHHHH! School ends for my student's on the 18th so I only have two more weeks. They have come so far this last year, I am so excited for them and their achievements!! I have been putting together photo albums for each of them with pictures from through out the year. My oh my how they have grown!!! It is so fun and I wouldn't trade my job for the world!!

Surprise!!!!

I threw a Surprise Party for my wonderful boyfriend this past weekend! And oh what a weekend it was!! It was so great...he really had no idea! I didn't really get to see him all last week so I wasn't able to spill the beans. The night began with a planned harbor cruise with his family that he knew about. We spent time cruising around the harbor in Newport, drank some magaritas and had a blast. Then we headed over to his favorite restaurant right on the water. It was so great we were able to pull the boat right up. What he didn't know is that about 30 of our closest friends were waiting upstairs for a huge surprise. He was so surprised! We had such a great time!

My wonderful roomie Megan works for a wonderful Furniture design company, Shine Home. They recently moved to a new location and had a Spring cleaning, warehouse sale.  We scored and ended up with beautiful new furniture and lights in our apartment.

Girlie Weekend Review

This past weekend reminded me what great friends I had (not that I needed reminding). The boyfriend was out of town (along with all of my friends boyfriends), so we had an all out girls weekend! We went out and had a blast dancing, laughing and enjoying each others company.

The weekend was so fun with the girls, but I was so happy to have my baby come back on Sunday. I am looking forward to a wonderful week, I know work is going to be busy...but I am keeping a positive outlook. Hope everyone is having a great week!

Relaxing, Rings and Ramblings....

It's Friday! Yay!! I ended up taking the day off work, due to several appointments. So I am getting an early start to the weekend! 

My love is gone this weekend to Santa Barbara with some of his friends, and I have several girls coming down to visit. I am so excited they are coming down...just hoping the weather is nice! I always have a hard time when Chris goes out of town but I am thankful for my girls to keep me company.

I got home early from my appointments today so I decided to relax and make some rings. I taught myself a few months ago when I saw a friend wearing a ring and said, "I can make that". I bought all the materials and have been experimenting with wire wrapping ever since. It is so relaxing to make these rings. This is not one I made today (but I had a picture of it). I am thinking of making some for my girlfriends for our girls weekend!  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

Kinder Korner

I love my job!! I look forward to the funny stories and silly comments made by my students each day! They make me smile and always take my mind off whatever is bothering me.

A few days ago during recess duty I was talking with two girls from my class. This is the conversation we had:

Girlie 1: Miss C, where is your baby?

Me: What?

Girlie 2: You know...where is your kid?

Me: Girls, I don't have a baby yet.

Girlie 1: But you are a grown up and have a job, you are supposed to have a baby!

Me: I don't have a baby, I'm not married...

Girlie 2: You're....You're.......(thinking with her finger tapping on her chin)...You're.... You're SINGLE!!!!!

I was laughing so hard! I was curious as what was to come out of her mouth...it was so funny! I told my boyfriend thank goodness I'm in a relationship or I could have developed a small complex about what my 5 year old little friend had shouted at me. Haha! 

I feel the adrenaline moving through my veins...

Britney Spears...AMAZING!!! The concert was incredible! She has made her comeback...Britney's back!

I went to the concert last night at the Staples Center in L.A with my three best girlfriends! We have been friends for ever and have so many memories together! We all live in different areas now and look forward to times like this when we can all get together and be silly together! We danced, we laughed, we sang and just had fun!

The performance was awesome by both the Pussy Cat Dolls and Miss Britney! I loved the Circus theme, what a genius idea!
